An idea is to use this solo as a prelude or postlude a week or two prior to introducing the congregation to the lyric version, as it helps familiarize the congregation with the melody so it's even easier to learn and sing in a later service. The vocal version then makes a beautiful responsorial piece that may fit as part of the liturgy for an ongoing season.
