Product Description

"Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" is a song by the British band The Beatles, released in 1965 on the album Rubber Soul.

It was composed mainly by John Lennon, with some collaborations from Paul McCartney. The lyrics were inspired by an extramarital affair of John, who was married to Cynthia Lennon at the time. George Harrison used an Indian instrument for the first time in this song, the sitar.

George was studying Indian music at the time, ended up buying a sitar and used it for the first time in a rock song.

It was on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.
