This nostalgic arrangement of The Rainbow Connection from "The Muppet Movie" is for Solo Alto, String Orchestra/Quintet, and Piano. Piano takes over Kermit's banjo strumming and additional harp parts as heard in the original song. There is gorgeous string accompaniment throughout which requires briefly shifting above 3rd position in Violin 1. The Cello and Bass parts are unique. As requested, it has been transposed to E & F Major with a vocal range of G#3-A4. This is a great piece for a late intermediate to advanced ensemble and is sure to please the audience!
