Product Description

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is an 18th century Christmas Carol. The popular tune everyone knows and loves today was composed in the 19th century. This arrangement is for four-part a cappella Mens Chorus (TTBB) with the melody primarily in the Tenor 2 part. It opens with the melody in unison on one syllable (optional) and continues with the first verse in a very traditional style. The second verse is lighter and the third verse is triumphant. The second and third verses incorporate their own subtle but meaningful harmonic variation. Key of G Major.

Unison D3-E4.
Tenor 1 B3-B4.
Tenor 2 D3-E4.
Baritone D3-F#4.
Bass E2-A3.
