Product Description

Phases for Trombone Octet is named for the four phases of change known as the DREC model. The model is based on the work of Swiss-American psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, who introduced her Change Curve in 1969 as a process to understand and deal with traumatic life events. The four movements are titled "Denial", "Resistance", "Exploration", and "Commitment", which correspond to Kübler-Ross's four phases. The music arises from those ideas. Like the process, it is a work of exploration -- not easy, but very rewarding. Advanced level of difficulty, with a performance time of 8:57. Member, ASCAP.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
