Marking the bicentennial of the Marquis de Lafayette's visit to the United States in 1825. This piece was dedicated to the 1825 graduating class of West Point.

Lafayette championed freedom and joined the Continental Army under George Washington and fought in the Siege of Yorktown. He was promoted to Major General at the age of 19. He later joined the French Revolution. He is considered a hero in both France and the USA.
