This piece was composed by Linzer & Rundle based on the Minuet in G major BWV Anh.II/114 from J.S. Bach's Anna Magdalena Bach Notebook. The original piece was written in 3/4 time, but the Lovers' Concerto is arranged in 4/4 time. Incidentally, the original piece was long believed to have been composed by Bach, but it is now generally believed to have been composed by Christian Petzold.
