Product Description

The Kings Dream was premiered at Christmas 2016. Unlike many choral works linked to the Epiphany, this work focuses on the angels revealing instructions to the Magi and to Joseph. It portrays the mysterious nature of how they appeared to the wise men and the importance of their instructions to Joseph to ensure Jesus survival. This work also reminds us of the Kings bravery when following Gods instructions and not returning to Herod.

The music is scored for choir and piano. It has a very atmospheric feel as the Sopranos and Altos sing angelically as if in an aparition. The Tenors and Basses sing the versus about the Kings and together all four parts unite in an uplifting and powerful chorus. A different viewpoint on the story of the three wise men not to be missed by any choir or audience.
