All alone, suffering, Spilling drops of blood,
Jesus prayed to God above With this anxious plea:
Take this cup far away; The pain exceeds my strength.
Through my tears I knew for sure: He did it all for me.
On the cross, crowned with thorns, Asking for a gift,
Jesus pled for soldiers there, Can their sins be freed?
They do not understand Now I am on their side.
Then this truth pierced my soul: He did it all for me.
At the tomb, Easter morn, Dressed in purest white,
Jesus death became new life, Ever lovingly.
Even though Mary asked, Where is my wondrous Lord?
This I knew in my heart: He did it all for me.
All for me, only me. It was all for me.
Jesus grieved alone for me, In Gethsemane.
On the cross, Calvary, He hung so all could see.
Still, without any doubt, I knew it was for me.
He came forth from his death So Id live again.
He forgives my evry sin So Ill ever be
Blessed by grace through his love. He fell that I might rise.
I am now in his hands; He died to make me free.
