Product Description
This arrangement for strings is late intermediate level with medium difficulty. Midway through the piece, a violin soloist is featured for four measures, and again in the final four bars. Though in the upper positions, the shifting is approachable and makes a nice spotlight for an advanced player.
- All players get to enjoy the melody at various times.
- Choirs of instruments are used, with the lower strings featured in the opening statement, followed by the violins playing divisi in four-part harmony.
- Divisi is required for first and second violins.
- Unaccompanied unison melodies may be played by the section, a small group or a soloist - this can be left to the directors discretion.
Though written for a string orchestra, this arrangement would suit itself well for a chamber ensemble of string players (4 violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos and one bass).
