I began composing Ερυθρό Μελτέμι (Red Etesian Wind) on late summer of 2024, and it took me two solid weeks to refine and orchestrate. "Ερυθρό" does not strictly translates to "Red". In terms of feel, "Ερυθρό" provokes a subtle feel of sorrow and melancholy. "Μελτέμι" on the other hand, is the Etesian, a dry north wind of the Aegean Sea that roughly occurs from late May - till the very beginnings of September. This piece intends to provoke a mixture of feelings, ranging from the sorrow and melancholy of "Ερυθρό", till the refreshing feeling of hope that comes from the Etesian Wind. Lastly i would like to thank my dear friend Nick that helped me compose and refine the drum section of the piece. I hope you enjoy listening as much as i had composing it.
