Strasbourg Rag (also called Strasrag) was written originally as a guitar "ragtime" solo as an upbeat meditation on my leaving the lovely city of Strasbourg (where I lived, sang, loved and taught for 8 months) and my return to the UK.

This duo version uses the notes of the guitar original but switches the melody and accompaniment between the two instruments on each successive phrase.
