Product Description

This joyful setting of "Italian Hymn" (Come, Thou Almighty King) was composed for the organ dedication at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Fort Myers, Florida on January 26, 2025 and is dedicated to organist Ben Ball, who performed the premiere of this piece. This festive hymn tune has a variety of texts associated with it, and there's also a hymn tune called "Moscow", which is a slight alteration of this melody, but still very recognizable. The piece alternates between 6/8 and 3/4 time, giving it a lively rhythmic pulse, and will hopefully add lots of joy to your service as an eye-opening prelude or as a joyous postlude!
