Morning Dew is a contemplative piece for the start of a new day.

It is a simple enough looking piece but correct performance requires a delicate touch, and a loose sense of timing to really bring out its character. The C-Db figure in bar 4 returns several times and develops each time. There are several points in the right hand which should be almost imperceptibly quiet for example bar 10 into bar 11, where those notes are really to provide colour more than to be the focus of that moment. The rubato section from bar 22, should be played loosely, I hesitate to say swung, but certainly with little regard for keeping the tempo consistent within the phrases.
