Product Description

This is an SATB/piano setting of a Lords Prayer paraphrase, suitable for worship service or concert. The first verse lyrics are by Nahum Tate and Nicholas Brady (1700). Four other verses are original, but in the same style.

The music is all original, a beautiful, lilting melody and a thick harmonic texture, nominally in G major, but meandering through Em and Am. The piano accompaniment is rhythmically interesting, somewhat guitar-like.

There are two optional instruments. An organ may be used to supply a simple, quiet harmonic underpinning to the piano. There is also a soaring flute obbligato. Note that if the flute is used, it must be played by an advanced flautist.
