Product Description

Marche Slave, Op. 31 by Pytor Illych Tchaikovsky was composed in 1876 for a benefit concert to raise funds for soldiers wounded in the Turko-Serbian war.

Tchaikovsky drew on folk materials of Slavic character and also included the Russian National Anthem for good measure to please the Czar. Marche Slave has always been a huge favorite of audiences and will bring them to their feet every time.

This outstanding arrangement by James Haynor is slightly abridged and is scored for 2 Trumpets, in B-flat, Horn, Trombone and Tuba.
