This is my orchestra arrangement of "Chasing Cars". The original song was composed by the british alternative rock band "Snow Patrol" in 2006. For me this is one of the most beautiful love songs ever written. When I heard this song for the first time in 2006 I was absolutely touched by its emotional music, words and the voice of Gary Lightbody. The lyrics of this timeless wonderful romantic love song, which were written by frontman Gary Lightbody, are about the dream of being able to forget everything around you with a loved one by your side. He wants to "waste" time with his loved one before they get too old and that is no longer possible. In the chorus he addresses the woman he loves and asks whether she would lie down with him so that she could forget the world with him.
