Claymont is an original I wrote while studying at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It's named after a street near the campus I used to walk past frequently. When it came time to title this tune, I thought it would make a unique name.

This composition was featured on the 2022 UNLV Division of Jazz and Commercial Music album, "Looking Up"

Instrumentation:

8 brass (4 trumpet, 3 tenor trombone, 1 bass trombone)
5 saxophones (2 alto, 2 tenor, 1 baritone)
Rhythm section (guitar, piano, bass, drum set)
Instrument Ranges:

Trumpet 1 to concert F6 (can be taken down the octave)
Trombone 1 to Bb4

Solos:

Chord changes in Trumpet 2 and Trombone 1
