Here is the full backup track for "Waving in the Autumn Breeze", as heard on my YouTube channel with all the other classic, beautiful hymns from the autumn and thanksgiving collection. The lyrics are from an old hymn I found from a hymnal called Hymns of the Morningland, from 1911, and I wrote this melody to try to capture the power and grandeur of the words.
This recording is a perfect accompaniment track for either a beautiful solo during a church service or for a congregation to sing along with, led by a singer who has heard the recording and knows the song. The mp3 has no lead singer but harmonies and a few descants in the background, particularly in the end, as they are really part of the music and will help to make it a really moving, powerful song at any church service. This rare hymn is wonderful for any time during autumn or the Thanksgiving season, reminding us of the glory of autumn leaves that reflects the glory of His face, and although the colours fade, His glory shall never.
For a really lovely way to tie a service together, I recommend playing the "Reprise" version of this after the service, if you do play music as a postlude. You can stream it without charge from any platform if you give full credit in the bulletin or anywhere online, and / or if purchased on iTunes etc.
