Product Description

There are Alternative parts for F and Eb Horns (Trombone) and Bb Trombone, Eb and Bb Basses in Treble and Bass Clefs. Please note: This title is published for Brass Quartet and Quintet and the parts are not interchangeable. Parts are identified at bottom left hand corner.

Jean- Philippe Rameaus Tambourin was originally a keyboard arrangement in his E Minor Suite. It has subsequently become well known in its own right. The style of the music evokes a dance rhythm being played by a tambourin, a small drum found in the Provence region of France. The staccato nature of the notation is also suggestive of its original performance on a Harpsichord. The lead player can include gruppettos or grace notes which was common practice in the late Baroque period or in the early 18C .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
