Product Description

"Eleanor Rigby" is a song by the English rock group The Beatles, originally released on the 1966 album Revolver and simultaneously as the B-side of a single, which had the song "Yellow Submarine" as the A-side.

Argument aside, Eleanor Rigby remains one of the Beatles' most recognizable and distinctive songs, with its lyrics telling of the loneliness of older people.

In December 1982, a statue of a lonely elderly woman was sculpted in Liverpool in honor of the song.

It was included in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.

The score (transcription) in question is a faithful and clear arrangement, containing small countermelodic phrases in the background (minor figures).

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
