This is a novelty, audience participation selection that I first heard as performed by the group "Trout Fishing In America" during the 1990's. I wrote the arragement then and performed it with my high school choir. Since then, I've refined it quite a bit and present it here for SATB voices and piano. It is easy to teach and sing, gives the choir lots to do and also contains a handful of individual solos to be acted out in various characterizations. It was a lot of fun for my kids and our audiences, as I am confident it will be for yours. If you wish to hear the original TFA version that inspired my writing, it is available on any of the popular streaming services or YouTube. An SSA version is also available.
