Originally published in 1895, it is performed frequently as a solo piece or in ensembles drawn from the Brazilian tradition, featuring guitars, flutes and strings. This arrangement for brass band makes this classic tango available to musicians around the world in an effort to celebrate the achievements of women composers through the centuries and making their music more accessible.
