Product Description

I Said No was written December 1941 for the Paramount picture Sweater Girl (1942) by the creative team Jule Styne and Frank Loesser.  The movie Sweater Girl is about college students who attempt to solve a series of murders on campus, while also trying to put on the schools big show. I Said No was sung by Betty Jane Rhodes, the singer who charmed the US as a wartime sweetheart in a sweater. I Said No is a comedic song, in He said, She said style, filled with innuendo, about making a purchase.  This arrangement is scored as a duet for She a soprano, and He a baritone, with piano accompaniment. Performance time: 2:24+-  A great comedic duet for those looking to round out their recital repertoire.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
