Product Description

(EN)
Second movement from Schumann's 1st Sonata for Piano and Violin, op. 105, transcribed for Alto Saxophone in E flat. The Saxophone part has been elaborated with great care and precision, maintaining the original articulation and indications that appear on the Violin part. In addition, the Saxophone part contains suggestions regarding double stops and pizziccati. The score that has served as a reference to elaborate the arrangement has been the urtext edition of Henle Verlag, edited by Wiltrud Haug-Freienstein in 1994, which is based on the autograph and on Schumann's working copy of the first printing.
This arrangement includes both the Alto Saxophone part and the Piano score (with the Saxophone line, ideal for rehearsing with piano). Original key.
