Product Description

An arrangement of the timeless hymn for unaccompanied cello, loosely inspired by the style of Bach's cello suites.

"Holy, Holy, Holy" is a deeply reverential hymn that meditates on the power, majesty, and holiness of God. Written by Reginald Heber in 1826, its lyrics celebrate the perfect trinitarian nature of God and His worthiness of praise. Set to the tune "NICAEA" by John B. Dykes, the hymn's descriptive verses paint a vivid picture of God's divinity.

This arrangement begins and ends with a simpler, broader melody, bookending a more ornate and lively central section. The dotted slur notation indicates notes that should be taken in one bow, but the solid slurs show groups of notes that should sound slurred together.
