Charles Williams (1893 - 1978),was a British composer and conductor who contributed music to over 50 films and wrote a considerable amount of light music, including 'Devil's Galop'. 'While I Live' is a 1947 British drama film, best remembered for its musical theme "The Dream of Olwen" composed by Charles Williams, which became hugely popular in its time and is still regularly performed. Orginally for piano and orchestra this verssion is for a 2 manual organ with pedals. It is playable on a Church instrument or equally suitable for a home instrument, or organ club recitals.
