Handbell Salsa is written for 3-6 octaves of handbells. It is a Level 4 piece and uses techniques including TD, gyros, and mallets.

The piece alternates between "hot" and "mild" and is syncopated with a clave rhythm. The "mild" sections are half the tempo of the "hot" sections, so the underlying beat is consistent.
