Product Description

Over The Rainbow, also known as Somewhere Over The Rainbow", was sung by Judy Garland in the role of Dorothy in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz and later became her signature song.  An introductory verse ("When all the world is a hopeless jumble...") that was omitted from the film is sometimes used in theatrical productions of "The Wizard of Oz" and other performances and recordings. This arrangement is true to the version performed in the 1939 film and does not include that introduction section.

This first, second and third horns take turns covering the lead melody in this arrangement. All players are free to instill emotion and feeling in their rendition of this iconic piece of music, with the lead playing with some freedom and in a lyrical style.

The fourth horn part is provided in both treble and bass clef.  This arrangement has been transposed to fit the range of the French horn.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
