Product Description

"California Dreamin'" was written in 1963 by John Phillips and Michelle Phillips when they were members of the folk group The New Journeymen - which later evolved into The Mamas and The Papas. The song was written while they were on tour in New York City during a cold winter, while they yearned for the sunny skies and white sandy beaches of California. This song became the signpost of the "California sound" and was the anthem to the pure magic of California. This Duo arrangement is a relaxed, easygoing rendition of the effortless melody - as carefree and nonchalant as a day on a California beach.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
