Here's Oktoberfest 101, a basic requirement for any polka band. It started out as a composition by a Czech composer, got new lyrics and new names in many languages (in Germany, where the Germans claim it as their own, it's called "Rosamunde") and became wildly popular across the globe during World War II, after the Andrews Sisters made a hit of it in 1939.
This one is scored for two trumpet, horn, tuba and baritone, a more fitting instrument for an Oktoberfest band than a trombone. If you'd like other instrumentation, I'm happy to accommodate. Contact me at wilcor@aol.com.
