Product Description

A Germanic Hymn Medley for Viola and Piano features five well know hymn tunes composed by Franz Joseph Haydn, Johann Crüger, Joachim Neander, and Johann R. Ahle:

  • ST. ANTHONY'S CHORALE
  • NUN DANKET
  • LOBE DEN HERREN
  • UNSER HERRSCHER
  • LIEBSTER JESU
A reprise of ST. ANTHONY'S CHORALE at the end features the Piano playing the melody; the Viola accompanies with fast rising arpeggios and short section of descending octave triplets. Two short sections of the reprise are written in treble clef to aid in note reading.
