Originally written for Sō Percussion, this quartet explores continuous rhythmic energy with periodic breaks into more free material. Much of the inspiration came from listening to Sō Percussions performances and working with the four amazing musicians who brought this piece to life. The tin cans are an homage to John Cages Third Construction, one of my all-time favorite pieces.
