Product Description

Bach presented this music in at least two versions.  It opens the Cantata, BWV 156, as a Sinfonia in F played by oboe and strings.  It also appears in Ab in the Harpsichord Concerto (BWV 1056) where the string accompaniment is, interestingly, all pizzicato.  In addition, it is also often performed as a Violin Concerto in G minor where this movement is played in Bb.

I have set it in A, mostly due to my guitar instincts, but violinists seem to prefer it in Bb.  Ive provided a violin part in each key, and if performed in Bb the guitarist will need to place a capo at the 1st fret.
