Product Description

Fünf Gesänge is the final collection of songs written by Alma Mahler and published in 1924.  This arrangment is for soprano and large string orchestra.  The string parts are somewhat difficult and require advanced players: college or professional.  It is suggested that the orchestra consist of 16 first violins, 14 second violins, 12 violas, 10 cellos and 8 double basses to properly cover parts that are sometimes divided in each section.  However, smaller ensembles will work as well.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
