Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) was released as a single in 1983. It became a huge, international success
for The Eurythmics and was listed in Rolling Stone magazines list of 500 greatest pop songs of all time.
The original is in the key of C minor but I have transposed it to A minor to make it more idiomatic for
guitarists.

Whereas many commentators discuss The bands use of technology in their music, very few mention the
subtle relative minor chord substitutions, altered dominants. and modal implications within the song. It
is a truly exceptional piece of composition.
