Product Description

Gustav Laska was a Czech bass player and composer of some note in his lifetime, being one of the school of Czech double bass playing inspired by the great Franz Simandl.
These "Five Pieces" were originally written for Cello and Piano, but transcribe well for the double bass after a careful choice of keys. They add to a rather restricted range of repertoire for this instrument.
