Product Description

Ferry cross the Mersey, the 22-year old Gerry Marsdens touching and sincere tribute to his home city, Liverpool, and its ferry across the River Mersey to Birkenhead, was recorded by his band Gerry and the Pacemakers and released in 1964, and it soon reached the Top  Ten in both the UK and the USA. In this easy-to-play arrangement, the steady left hand beat suggests the pulsing rhythm from the engine-room above which the melody sings smoothly and expressively.

The Janet and Alan Bullard Piano Series is an ever-growing collection of arrangements at easy to intermediate level, designed to complement the authors Pianoworks series (Oxford University Press). With Christmas songs such as Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire and A Spaceman Came Travelling, songs from the shows such as Youll Never Walk Alone, jazz standards such as The Wedding and A Child is Born songs by bands like Abba and The Kinks, pieces from the classics, and even the theme tunes from James Bond, Desert Island Discs, and The Archers, there is something here for everyone who learns the piano!
All arrangements are distributed by Sheet Music Plus and Sheet Music Direct, and are available as individual digital downloads. A full list is available at www.bullardmusic.co.uk

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
