This is a well-known Scottish fiddle "strathspey", performed big band style and featuring alto sax solo and the saxophone section. Written for a concert tour to Scotland, this will be a unique and fun novelty number in any program. The demo is from a live performance by the Metro Big Band at Drumchapel Baptist Church in Scotland, featuring the arranger Laird Halling on the solo alto sax part.
