The audio sample and Youtube video "The Darkest Day of the Year" isperformed by a middle school choir. Though this could be performed by any age group. There is also an optional solo section for a violinist. This is great for a Spring Concert for St. Paddy's Day or a Winter Concert with something new and different - Celtic and Druidic traditions that foreshadowed our modern Christmas traditions including Old Man Winter, the Yule Log, holly and so much more. Fun for the choir members and for the audience. Included with the Choral Octavo is a teacher's lesson plan, and solo violin score.
