This work with structure A - B and with small coda to A is written in contemporary language but with modern harmony and very close to jazz. There is a description in the score about the meaning of "La Puerta Falsa". The violin, viola and cello parts are not only accompanists but also protagonists. It is really a chamber work in which all four players must work together.

The extended techniques are not very complicated nor are they abused, trying to have a balance between traditional writing in the composition and contemporary writing.
