Product Description

You have just come across the perfect closing song for your ukulele club gatherings.

"Show Me the Way to Go Home" is a popular song written in 1925 by the English songwriting team Jimmy Campbell and Reg Connelly using the pseudonym "Irving King". They self-published the sheet music and it became a big success, selling over 2 million copies. The song has been recorded and performed by a multitude of musicians over the past 99 years.

Home, Sweet Home is an original song written by John Meola Lindhorst in 2024 as a partner song to Show Me the Way to Go Home. This special version was arranged for the Rock River Strummers, a popular ukulele group in Oregon, Illinois.

John Meola Lindhorsts arrangement is an easy-to-read format for voice and standard ukulele. The ukulele chord charts are conveniently placed where needed, making the accompaniment easy to play for all skill levels.

This simple version presents both songs sung simultaneously in partner-song fashion.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
