Product Description

A 6-voices mass by Andreas Crappius, a musical imitation of the song or motet "Shaffe in mir Gott ein reines Herz" (Psalm 51) on which many German-area composers put their hands in those years but also well up untile late Brahms: Gregor Lange, Andreas Hammerschmidt, Heinrich Schuets, Johann Georg Wiener... Andreas Crappius was an appreciated sacred music composer, choir director and pedagogue for over 50 years in Hannover.
