Intended for Advent, this gem uses the ancient Greek Hymn text translated by John Brownlie set to the Kentucky Harmony tune MORNING SONG, from 1813. This SATB and piano arrangement by David Lantz III features an optional soprano descant on the final verse. This is an excellent offering for the Advent season, and its preparation by the choir will take little time.  Traditional soundingand appealing!
