Max and Millie's Undersea Adventure is an innovative work for flexible beginner string ensemble, soloist and piano.  It  features three contrasting pieces of music along with narration to tell an exciting story full of dolphins, mermaids and a terrifying sea monster!   The earliest beginners will be introduced to a wealth of different bowing techniques, harmonics, glissandi and more, plus the slightly more advanced are invited to explore the whole tone scale and position playing.  The cello, viola or violin soloist could be a guest professional, teacher or older student.  The teachers' pack provides everything needed for an inspirational and successful workshop day or longer-term project: all scores and parts, narration with pre-divided lines ready to cut out, and a guide to rehearsal and performance which includes additional workshop ideas.
