An original Tango in concert C minor. Scored for E flat Clarinet, 3 B flat Clarinets, Alto and Bass Clarinet,

Nightscape has a dark mysterious feel- it has 3 distinct sections. The first two sections are typical of the tango rhythms you would expect to hear- very syncopated in all parts against a strong melodic line. The 3rd section by contrast is more lyrical in nature, but the underlying tango rhythms present light punctuations in support. The final section is a return of the main theme-then onto a short coda to finish.

Aimed at the intermediate player, the full score is 15 pages- parts 3 pages, and it is nearly 4 minutes long.
