Nikolai Vasilyevich Mordasov (1931-2001, Rostov-on-Don) was a Soviet and Russian jazz teacher, saxophonist, arranger, and composer. A collection of piano pieces arranged for accordion: "Jazz Miniatures".The music of these simple pieces uses elements of jazz language. The simple texture and the absence of significant technical difficulties make it possible to use these pieces in the initial training of bayanists and accordionists to familiarize themselves with jazz forms and the manner of performance.
