Product Description

The music for "Aura Lea" was composed by George R. Poulton and published by the John Church Company in 1861. It was a hit at minstrel shows and sung by troops during the Civil War long before Elvis Presley made it popular as "Love Me Tender"  in 1956. My arrangement of the sentimental melody is inspired by music boxes from my childhood.
