"LONGING FOR THE SPRING BREEZE " is a popular song in Taiwan composed by Yu-Hsien Teng (1906-1944) in 1933. It is arranged for string quartet by Diau-Hua Lim.The second violin shows the sweet theme under the accompaniment of cello's pizzicato after the introduction of the quartet. The first violin and the cello show the beautiful melody successively to complete the beginning phrase.Then the viola and the first violin enrich the music by changing the thematic melody and using delicate modulation. The work is highly praised everywhere.
