This piece is based on the famous text from 1 Peter 2:4-10 with the well-known verse - "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God". It reminds us that, however ordinary we feel, we are special in God's eyes. It was written for the commissioning of the new building for Dundonald Church, Rayne's Park and was first performed at a "Come and Sing" in October 2022. It is scored for SATB choir and keyboard.
